Defining My Blog

I have considered starting a blog for some time now. I have a lot of doubts about why anyone would want to read about anything that I have done, that I am doing, or that I will do. There are so many wonderful crafting and quilting blogs out there and I don't really feel that anything I am doing is that spectacular... But I have had so many friends encourage me to just put it out there. Most of what I do is just a variation of what someone else has already done.
I see this blog as my learning journey. I am learning to quilt, to sew, to craft, and do many other DIY projects. There are always new things to learn and new ideas to try.
I love to quilt and craft, and try all sorts of DIY projects, and I plan that my blog will mostly revolve around that, but I also have two very lively boys, a wonderful husband, and many other interests that will probably sneak into my blog from time to time.

So who am I?

I am a Follower of Jesus Christ.
I am a wife.
I am a mommy of two boys that I home school.
I am a friend, a daughter, and a sister.
I am a bookkeeper that works from home - Thank God for the internet!
I attempt all sorts of crafts and DIY projects.
I am a wanna be quilter.
I am a student of so many wonderful crafting, sewing, quilting, and DIY bloggers.

So here goes my attempt at a blog, a blog to document my journey as I learn from the many talented bloggers and teachers out there.

  1. Well you certainly have talent for color! For such a simple design, the fabric melds beautifully together and looks like a masterpiece! My simple quilts are never that pretty! I don't have the "eye" for color...but I love to make stuff and love to FMQ. I don't blog, but I blog hop and l love that blogs exist! Good luck!
